Financial Principal, Licensed Fiduciary, Conservator,
Personal Representative - Trustee $115/hour

Manage financial affairs; make all substantive financial decisions; manage work of all licensed fiduciaries, estate administrators and support staff; testify in court; communicate with clients, beneficiaries, families, attorneys, trustees, trust administrators and others involved in client’s financial well-being.

Director of Estate Services, Licensed Fiduciary - $115/hour
Direct supervision of Licensed Fiduciaries/Estate Administrators, Property Manager and support staff; testify in court; meet and communicate with clients, beneficiaries, families, attorneys, trustees, and trust administrators.

Licensed Fiduciary/ Estate Administrator - $105/hour
Under direct supervision of Financial Principal/Director of Estate Services, meet and communicate with clients, beneficiaries, families, attorneys, trustees, trust administrators and staff regarding client’s financial affairs. Administer conservatorships and estates; secure and recover assets; manage banking/investment accounts; reconcile financial statements; review and pay incoming client bills; communicate with insurance companies and financial institutions; prepare financial status reports; prepare court accountings, estate management plans, and bond analyses.

Property Manager - $95/hour
Under direct supervision of Financial Principal/Director of Estate Services, inventory, obtain digital images, secure, and obtain appraisal (when appropriate) of property; supervise maintenance of property, maintain exact records of all property; coordinate with realtors and maintenance personnel to facilitate the sale of real property; coordinates and supervises move of client’s personal property.

Estate Administrator - $95/hour
Under direct supervision of Financial Principal/Director of Estate Services, administer conservatorships, and estates; secure and recover assets; manage banking/investment accounts; reconcile financial statements; review and pay incoming client bills; communicate with insurance companies and financial institutions; prepare financial status reports; prepare court accountings, estate management plans, and bond analyses.

Assistant Estate Administrator & Property Management Support $75/hour

Under direct supervision of Financial Principal/Director of Estate Services, assist with dual control for marshaling; securing of and inventory of personal property and of personal and financial documents; assist Estate Administrators and Property Manager as needed.

Client Services - $55/hour
Maintain client files; travels to court for pick-up/drop-off; travels to bank for deposits; and other tasks which do not involve advanced fiduciary skills but provide a direct benefit to the client.

Support Services - $35/hour
Process incoming/outgoing mail, copying, sorting and other routine support tasks.

Set-up Fee - $200
Establishment of digital and hard-copy files, case management, accounting, and financial accounts, copying and scanning of pertinent case documents, and establishing contact lists/contact information, as necessary.

Estate Termination Fee - $500 / Six (6) or more beneficiaries $700
Termination of decedent’s estates/trusts: A flat fee will be charged to cover necessary services after final distributions are calculated. These services may include, but are not limited to: Preparation and mailing of final distribution checks; collection of data for and subsequent filing of the final fiduciary income tax returns; mailing schedules K-1 to beneficiaries; notifying taxing authorities of termination of fiduciary entity; filing closing statements and requesting exoneration of bonds and discharge by the court; and archiving/storing case files.

Guardianship Fiduciary Services
Care Management / Healthcare Advocate

Client Care Principal, Licensed Fiduciary, Guardian, Care Manager, Healthcare Advocate $115/hour
Make all substantive medical and care decisions; directly supervise the work of care managers; conduct weekly multidisciplinary care conferences; testify in court; communicate directly with healthcare providers, attorneys, families, POAs, Trust Officers, clients and other; provide assessments and reports to the court.

Nurse Care Manager/Healthcare Advocate - $105/hour
Under the direct supervision of the Guardian, perform regular assessments; participate in weekly multidisciplinary care conferences; testify in court; personally visit clients; monitor care delivery; coordinate services; provide crisis intervention; directly supervise the work of assistant care managers, and care management assistants; communicate with families and others involved in client’s well-being
(When called out at night and on weekends - $135/hour)

Assistant Care Manager $75/hour
Under the direct supervision of the Guardian and Nurse Care Managers, accompanies clients to some medical appointments and acts as an attendant when additional experience and expertise is required that does not rise to the level of a Nurse Care Manager. Additionally, procures medical items; transitions clients to new living settings, coordinates transportation, orders medication; communicates with healthcare provider’s offices and maintains confidential client healthcare records.

Care Manager Support Services - $55/hour
Under the direct supervision of the Guardian and Care Managers, provide less skilled services, i.e., shopping, delivery of lab samples and other ancillary services.

Set-up Fee - $200
Establishment of digital and hard-copy files, case management, copying and scanning of pertinent case documents, establishing contact lists/contact information, providing pertinent information to care-givers, and establishing details on client face sheets, as necessary.

Costs Charged Directly to the Client

Check writing - $10/per check
Fee for preparation of check - includes opening and logging mail, routine review of charge by Estate Administrator, entering data and printing of computer check, review and signing by financial principal/licensed fiduciary, mailing check, filing of copy of check with supporting documentation, eventual storage of hardcopy and digital copy of check until destroy date, shredding of hardcopy records after destroy date.

Faxes - $1.00 per page

Photocopies - $.20 per page


Shredding - $2.00 per pound
(no charge to client for shredding documents totaling less than one half (1/2) pound in a calendar month)

Printed Color Photographs - $.50 per print

Mileage IRS approved rate - (currently 55.5 cents per mile)
Fees and expenses are subject to change with thirty (30) days written notice to the parties as required by A.R.S. § 14-5109.

All services billed at an hourly rate will be billed at a 0.1 hour (1/10th of an hour) minimum increment.

Tasks will be delegated to a person billing at the lowest appropriate billing rate. If the task or service cannot be delegated, staff will bill at the lowest appropriate billing rate.

Most of the services provided by Childers & Coventry, LLC, under a court appointment, are mandated by Arizona law (Title 14 of the Arizona Revised Statutes – “ARS”), the Arizona Rules of Probate Procedure, or the Arizona Code of Judicial Administration (ACJA) – AJCA sections noted below.

We are subject to oversight by our licensing entity, the Arizona Supreme Court - Fiduciary Licensing Program, the Superior Court of Arizona, attorneys involved in our cases, family, and other interested parties.

We are licensed, bonded, and insured. In Arizona, it is standard court practice to order a specific bond to cover the assets and income under the control of a fiduciary.

Childers & Coventry, LLC is obligated, under ARS § 14 – 1104, to prudently manage the costs of administering cases entrusted to its care. Our practice is to document the valuable services we provide to the ward, protected person, or estate, such that the necessity, intrinsic value, and reasonableness are readily apparent.

Childers & Coventry, LLC, Fiduciary License No. 20470, holds an active fiduciary license issued by the Arizona Supreme Court, Administrative Offices of the Court, and is subject to regulation by the program. The regulations governing licensed fiduciaries and fiduciary entities are specified in the Arizona Code of Judicial Administration, § 7-201: General Requirements and §7-202: Fiduciaries. These administrative rules, adopted by the Arizona Supreme Court, include a Code of Conduct that all licensed fiduciaries are required to follow.
